Irigo is a smart irrigation system that brings a smart solution for researchers and farmers to monitor weather, soil conditions, lighting, and adjust the environment using machine learning and preset data from their mobile devices that ultimately increases productivity, resource preservation, and crop improvement.
This project has demonstrated an eye-opening prototype sample showing the future of agriculture technology in Ethiopia.
It caught the attention of 100,000+ visitors after posting on social media channels and aired an interview on national radio crediting the importance of the solution to our country’s agriculture.
